This year I taught two junior classes divided according to the ability. At the beginning, the status quo of the students' aural perception and listening comprehension of the English language was examined and was compared with that of the juniors I taught last year. Finding that there is little difference between them, the same listening exercises were designed and perfomed. Two tests(i.e.,pre-and-post)were given at an interval of about three months.
