| 内容記述 | Some critics show interest in the change of the author's attention from the "perfect union" between both sexes to the "great world" of nature in Women in Love, referring to the passage showing the resurrection of the hero Birkin through the delicate touch with vegetation life. But the resurrection scene in the vegetation world does not necessarily mean the abandonment of the "perfect union." When consideration is given to the fact that the rest of the work centers about the establishment of a desirable relationship between man and woman, it is without doubt that his "Sacred World" is supposed to be founded on a mutuality of being. The discussion which follows is conducted on how the mutual world is pursued in Women in Love, with special attention to the words "inhuman" or "impersonal." | |||||||||||||
