| 内容記述 | The present study examined F0 differences in reading Japanese and English passages. Various hypotheses concerning voice pitch differences between speakers of Japanese and English have been formulated. As part 1 of voice pitch investigation, we conducted an experiment to test some of the hypotheses focusing upon female voice pitch differences between speakers of Japanese and English. As anatomical differences between individual speakers need to be eliminated, we used Japanese female college students of English as the subjects of the present study. | |||||||||||||||||||
